So What's A Dildo....
Dildos have been around for centuries and are known to be the favorite of all sex toys for both men and women. A dildo should not be confused with a vibrator, although some dildos do vibrate. While the majority of dildos look just like a penis - they come in a multitude of choices from neutral... to rainbow colors, narrow and short... to huge monster ones. Although some people use a dildo when the real thing isn't around, others use them for added sexual excitement with a partner. I do both! You'll find that you can do many things with dildos that you can't do with other sex toys - rub it against your clit, the head of the penis, the scrotum, or anywhere else that heats you up. You can insert the dildo part way into the vagina with each thrust, to stimulate the g-spot, or you can insert the dildo fully into the vagina to stimulate the entire vaginal opening. Now you may wonder what to look for when you're buying a dildo so let's cover that. First off, don't bite off more than you can chew. The next thing you'll want to decide is what you want your dildo made of. Do you like the feel of the real thing, or do you want something different. Silicone is considered to be the best although it does have some drawbacks. It is the smoothest and most flexible of all the materials. Since it doesn't have the lifelike grooves and bumps, it's the easiest to clean. The best part is you can heat them in the microwave or you may be one of those that like it cold - refrigerate it! Now the downside is.....they cost a little more than the others. It's worth it - spend the few extra dollars.
You can probably guess that dildos are not the most difficult sex toys to use. Nonetheless, if you don't use them right, they can cause you harm and discomfort. I highly recommend lubricating your dildo and the area you will be inserting it in. It makes it a lot more comfortable plus it will aid in stimulation. My preference is ID Pleasure Lubricant.
Last but not least, I can never stress enough the importance of keeping all your sex toys clean! Dildos should be washed thoroughly after each use. If you don't clean them, then you are setting yourself up for a nasty infection.
